Liverpool will look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League when they head to Selhurst Park at lunchtime on Saturday.
The Reds edged out Tottenham Hotspur to move clear at the top of the table on Wednesday, and they’ll aim for their sixth consecutive league win at Selhurst Park this weekend.
However, Jurgen Klopp’s side must end a winless run of five Premier League away games if they’re to emerge from south London with all three points.
The omens look good for the current champions. Former Reds manager Roy Hodgson has lost all six of the league games he has had against Liverpool since leaving the Anfield club.
The Eagles have won just two of their last ten home games, too, having failed to keep a clean sheet in 12 league games.
In contrast, Liverpool have now scored in 19 consecutive league games, and have lost just one of their last 13 games in London.
Christian Benteke will not face his old club, as the Palace striker is suspended. Mamadou Sakho and Nathan Ferguson remain sidelined for the hosts too.
Liverpool’s Joel Matip sits out alongside Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota.
